Distilled Orange Blossom Water

Liguria, referred to over the centuries as "Le pays où fleurit l'oranger", is the land of the orange flower aroma. The bitter orange flowers are picked in spring: one by one with a slow manual movement and are dropped onto jute cloths. Once the harvest is finished, they are passed into the classic alembic for distillation, which lasts hours. These small white flowers are distilled with passion and experience in Vallebona (Imperia) by the Guglielmi family, an ancient distillery, a Slow Food Presidium, active for over 160 years.
